Who processes your data

What data we process

• Your phone number, your name and your email.
• Your dogs' details: name, breed, date of birth, weight, allergies and chronic conditions.
• What you send us on WhatsApp: messages, and photos of invoices, prescriptions or vaccination cards.
• The events you confirm: vaccines, vet visits, medication, food, daycare and other expenses.

We do not store your ID number (DNI) or your address, even if they appear on an invoice.

Why, and on what legal basis

To keep your dogs' health and expense record, and to send you reminders and a weekly summary by email. The legal basis is your consent, which you give us on WhatsApp before we process any data. We store the date, the time and the version of the text you accepted.

Third-party offers, such as insurance, need a separate consent that we do not ask for when you sign up.

Photos: 24 hours at most

Photos are kept in private, encrypted storage only while they are processed. They are deleted when you confirm or discard the event and, at the latest, after 24 hours.

Where your data is and who helps us

We store your data on servers in the European Union (DigitalOcean and Amazon Web Services). We use these data processors:

• Twilio, to receive and send WhatsApp messages.
• Anthropic, to read photos and messages with artificial intelligence. It does not use your data to train its models.
• Amazon Web Services, for temporary photo storage, backups and sending emails.

Twilio and Anthropic may process messages outside the European Union under the safeguards of the standard contractual clauses.

How long

For as long as you use Kuaderno. Send “borrar mis datos” (delete my data) on WhatsApp and we delete your account, your dogs, your events and your photos, and confirm it by message.

Your rights

You can access, rectify and erase your data, object to or restrict its processing, and ask for portability by writing to hola@kuadernoapp.com. You can also complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos).
